My name’s Alex James and I’m a celebrity, editorial, and fashion photographer based in London. Over the years I have worked across a diverse client base, including fashion, branding, and corporate campaigns as well as celebrity portraiture. From carrying out fashion shoots for large high-street fashion brands to creating look-books for smaller boutiques, I can provide a wide range of fashion photography services.

Whether shooting in my fully equipped studio in North London or on location in Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Madrid, or Paris, I will bring my unique style, creativity, and artistic flair to every photoshoot. Working alongside a team of production staff, hair and makeup artists, stylists, and a full video team, we can assist you with all your fashion photography needs.

Fashion focused photography 

In 2010 I made the decision to focus my attention on shooting fashion campaigns. Not moving away completely from celebrity photography but consciously producing and shooting more fashion. Today around 80% of my work is fashion based projects, ranging from look-books, social campaigns, point of sale imagery and above-the-line advertising campaigns.

Moving Image / Videography

In 2014 as a business we invested heavily in video technology. Growing the business to include an in-house video editor and cameraman. We now offer simultaneous stills photography and video packages. To-date we have shot everything from music videos and TV commercials to social media content. Our moving image services are incredibly popular and we now shoot video on around 70% of our stills shoots. 

London based studio

While I’m predominantly based in North London, my work as a fashion photographer takes me all over the world. When I’m not travelling for work, you’ll find me at my studio editing images and spending time with my family.
